What do you think are the biggest issues facing us today in public education?

There are a plethora of issues facing us in education today one the biggest issues amongst many thigs is ineffective leadership. When admins do not function in one position they often times get promoted to the next position in the hopes they do better. It happened more often than you might like to believe. Working with an ineffective and underqualified admin is a terrible experience, especially when the person in charge rather be elsewhere, and the other one believes he knows everything what's to know about this field in education through he (another appointee) only works within this field a short amount of time and yet acts like he knows everything, is always right and insinuates when proofed wrong, that long time practitioners don't know a thing...
