Row 1: (RS) K1 (edge). *K1, P1, K1, P1*, rep * to * to last 2 sts. Kl, then K 1 (edge).
Row 2: Work each st in the manner that it presents.
Row 3: K1 (edge). *P1. K3*, repeat from * to * to last 2 sts, P1, then K1 (edge).
Row 4: Work each st in the manner that it presents.
Row 5: (RS) K1 (edge). *K1, P1, K1, P1*, rep * to * to last 2 sts. Kl, then K 1 (edge).
Row 6: Work each st in the manner that it presents.
Row 7: K1 (edge), *K2, P1, K1*. repeat from * to * to last 2 sts, K1, then K1 (edge).

Row 8: Work each st in the manner that it presents.


Repeat these 8 rows until desired length.
