Row 2: Purl

Repeat  rows 1 &2, 4 more times

2 - Garter Stitch: 10 stitches

Row 1: knit

Row 2: knit

Repeat  rows 1 &2, 4 more times

3 - Seed Stitch: 10 stitches
Row 1 (RS): *K1, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 2: *P1, k1; rep from * to end.

Repeat  rows 1 &2, 4 more times

From here on you can switch the patterns around as you like best, repeating. I started with stockinette, garter, and seed stitch. Second row of boxes, I started with seed stitch, stockinette stitch and garter stitch. Box row 3, I started garter stitch, seed stitch, and stockinette stitch. The variation is of the patterns is up to you the knitter.
