Cast on using color A
Row 1 (right side): K5 * P5, K5; rep from * to end.
Row 2: Knit and purl the stitches as they appear.
Row 3 : Rep Row 1.
Row 4: Rep Row 2.
Row 5: *cross 2 left, cross 2 right, P5; rep from * to end.
Row 6: Purl all stitches
Change to color B
Row 7: (right side): P5 * K5, P5; rep from * to end.
Row 8: Knit and purl the stitches as they appear.
Row 9 : Rep Row 7
Row 10: Rep Row 8
Row 11: P5; *cross 2 left, cross 2 right, P5; rep from * to end.
Row 12: Purl all stitches
Repeat these 12 rows.
Abbreviations:
Cross 2 left:
Slip the next stitch onto a cable needle and
hold at the front of your work, knit the next
stitch from the left-hand needle; then knit the stitch from the cable needle.
Cross 2 right:
Slip the next stitch onto a cable needle and hold at the back of your work, knit the next stitch from the left-hand needle; then knit the stitch from the cable needle.
