Sophia the Flamingo represents a novice crochet amigurumi design featured in Kerry Lord's second book, "Edward’s Menagerie: Birds."
I purchased the kit for creating Sophia the Flamingo long ago.
Materials:
- Yarn: TOFT DK Wool - 75g Pink, 25g Cream, and 25g Black.
- Hook: 3mm Crochet Hook.
- Notions: A small amount of toy stuffing, a tapestry needle, black wool for the eyes, and some scrap yarn for use as a stitch marker.
- Gauge: 6 stitches x 7 rows in a 3cm x 3cm square.
- Completed measurements: 28cm when in a seated position.
- Employed techniques: British double crochet stitch.
