In a move to reduce the stash of my yarns, I am trying to come up with some design ideas. Being inspired by knit projects from the 60ties, 70ties, and 80ties, I believe sometimes, the success of a knit project depends on small tweaks and novel ideas like this popular twisted headband.
Yarn used: Ella Rae Classic 100 % Wool, colors 60 (yellow) and 11 (rose)

I sat in front of the TV yesterday and knitted a longer sleeve and am still not sure. The short one looks nice, but it would be too warm to wear in the spring or summer. The long sleeve would made it a sweater for cooler weather.

Baby Booties
I am knitting for a friend's first grandbaby a blanket. I was looking for some patterns for blankets. Instead, I found a knitting pattern for little botties in the 60 Quick Baby knits.

Sawtooth Scarf
I am almost done with this sawtooth scarf. This is the second scarf I knitted with this pattern. I found it a few years back in a Knit Simple magazine.

Beanie
Easy knit-in-the-round project using left-over yarn from another project. Our weather is cold and windy right now and this beanie comes in rather handy. My ears are freezing in the morning when I am walking Little Lu in the park...
