Well, how does that sound... You are part of an interview panel. Later that afternoon, they talk about the candidates, and someone mentioned the word "over-qualified". You just look up and say out loud that there is no such thing as being overly-qualified and a lame excuse for whatever. You are adding that "we all are able to learn new things" and you stop just short before blabbering that they are not known for hiring "over-qualified" employees, but rather to appoint under-qualified employees on a regular basis to certain programs and departments. But you didn't say it, you wanted to, but then you lost your courage.
