I found this pattern in Vouge Knitting Scarves Two, on the go book from the 2003. The pattern in the book teaches you how to knit a scarf. I used the pattern to knit a beanie. I started knitting the pattern of the Fancy Little Edge. After completing sixteen little edges I closed the edge/trim in the round and picked up around to knit the beanie using the scarf pattern.
